Quiet Aletheia policies

Digital Product License

Simple rules for using Quiet Aletheia templates and digital resources.

Effective October 2, 2026

Introduction

Quiet Aletheia creates digital products to give businesses, makers, creators, and individuals a thoughtful place to begin.

When you purchase or download a Quiet Aletheia digital product, you are purchasing permission to use that product under this license.

You are not purchasing the copyright or ownership of the original design.

What you may do

Unless a product listing says otherwise, you may:

  • Use the product for your own personal or business use
  • Edit customizable text
  • Change colors
  • Change fonts when the format allows
  • Add your own logo
  • Add your own photographs or graphics
  • Adapt the template to your own brand
  • Use the finished design to promote your own business, products, services, events, or projects
  • Print finished designs for your own use
  • Publish your finished designs on your own website and social media

One purchase, one user or business

Unless a product includes a different license, one purchase is intended for one individual, business, or brand.

If you manage multiple unrelated businesses or client brands, additional licenses may be required.

What you may not do

You may not:

  • Resell the original template
  • Redistribute the editable template
  • Share the template link or source file with others
  • Give the product away as a template
  • Upload the editable product to a shared template library
  • Claim the original Quiet Aletheia design as your own template product
  • Sell substantially unchanged versions of the template
  • Use the product to create competing template packs
  • Sub-license the editable product
  • Make the original source files available for download by others

Client use by professionals

Unless a product specifically includes a commercial or client-use license, purchasing a standard template does not automatically give a designer, virtual assistant, social media manager, agency, or other professional permission to reuse the same template for multiple clients.

Contact Quiet Aletheia if you need extended client-use or multi-brand licensing.

Printed end products

You may generally use your customized design to create printed end products for your own business or project.

You may not use Quiet Aletheia templates to create and sell competing editable templates or substantially unchanged design products.

Third-party elements

Some templates may work with third-party platforms, fonts, photographs, graphics, or other assets.

Those elements may have separate license terms.

Purchasers are responsible for complying with any third-party license requirements applicable to assets they add or choose to use.

Canva and other platforms

Some products may be delivered through Canva or another third-party platform.

Use of that platform is also subject to the platform's own terms, account requirements, features, and licensing rules.

Quiet Aletheia does not control future changes made by third-party platforms.

Customized for you

If you purchase a Quiet Aletheia customization service, we may adapt a ready-made design using your logo, colors, fonts, photographs, business information, or other agreed brand elements.

The underlying Quiet Aletheia template remains Quiet Aletheia intellectual property.

Your own logos, photographs, trademarks, and original materials remain yours.

Made for you

Fully custom creative work is different from a ready-made template.

Ownership and usage rights for custom work are determined by the applicable project terms or agreement.

No transfer of copyright

Purchasing a digital product or customization service does not transfer copyright in the underlying Quiet Aletheia template, system, layout, or original reusable design elements unless a written agreement specifically states otherwise.

Questions about licensing

If you are unsure whether your intended use is permitted, ask before purchasing or distributing the product.
